    D2K Installation Problem

    Hi,

    Personal computer

    Operating System :Windows ME

    Oracle Database : 8.0.3(Personal Edition)

    Currently I am trying to install Developer 2000 R2.1 production

    In the middle of the installation I am getting the error as follows

    Orainst has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL

    can anyone guide me to solve the problem

    This is ancient history stuff. Why not get later versions of Forms and the RDBMS? The solution to this problem was one of three methods:
    1) Copy msvcrt.dll from Windows install disk to the correct location
    2) Get a newer version of OUI
    3) Run OUI again (and again?) because sometimes it works
