Question Can anyone recommend a good, resonably priced ide, for writing pl/sql.

I am writing a lot of pl/sql these days. When something unexpected happens, which is often. It takes time to track down where it is happening. I used to program in VB 6.0 and I got used to and like its debugger.

Can anyone make any recommendations as to which tool has the best debugger and is the easiest to use. I am currently coding in Codewright 6.1. I sometimes use JDeveloper but that can be rather cumbersome. Any relevant help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi.

I wrote a query tool and PL/SQL editor in Java:

    http://www.oracle-base.com/Misc/TSHSQL.asp

It's no TOAD but it's free, which makes it pretty good value for money

    Cheers
