    Document Bug - 9i Rel 2 ??

    Is this a document bug...??

The doc advises to use NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS instead of using CHAR or BYTE qualifiers haphazardly. Now, later on the doc says the following quoted...

    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs...ch2.htm#104327

When the NCHAR character set is AL16UTF16, ename can hold up to 10 Unicode code units. When the NCHAR character set is AL16UTF16, ename can hold up to 20 bytes.

The above does not make sense to me, if it does to u please enllghten me...where am I missing the point ...?

    Thanks.
