    Warning: Intuit TurboTax breaks Oracle

    I installed Intuit TurboTax on my Win XP professional laptop. Found i couldn't connect to my local Oracle 9iR2 EE database -- sqlnet error.

    Turns out that turbo tax also installs C-Dilla (as a service, and without either permission or notification). this broke oracle, and had to be disabled before i could connect to the db.

    Just starting your taxes. You still have almost 10 hours to get them filed. Why hurry.

    heh heh heh, quite true. i filed for an extension at 3pm on the 15th.
