    changing the DB time

I have a crazy time set on my DB (9i)
all my timestamps are wrong (well 9 hours late...)

how do I change the DB time (sysdate) easily?

The database time is derived from the system's time.

I know I'll be sorry for asking, but why do you think the database time is different than the system time? Could you post an example (query) of why you suspect this?
