    Red face Urgent: Oracle 8 question

    Hi all,

    I would like to roll forward transaction logs automatically in a standby unix machine. Those logs would periodically be uploaded into the standby unix server from primary unix server. The database is in down mode in the standy machine and I have to startup mount, recover database, auto roll forward and shutdown the database again after finished all steps. Can I automate all these steps ? The unix platform is in aix4.3.3.
