    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [12333], [0], [0], [0], [], [], [], []

    Hello all,

    I am getting the following error in my alert log:

    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [12333], [0], [0], [0], [], [], [], []

    An ORA-00600 means the database is down. However i can log into sqlplus and perform all queries? Is this something to do with PMON coming in and rectifying the problem? Can anyone shed some light on this?

    There are number of reasons for ORA-00600.Some times in the error itself it will give u some hint.check on Metalink for specific reason.
