ORA-04031: unable to allocate NNNNN bytes of shared memory........

    Hi,
    I've oracle 9i server and 10 oracle 8i client.
When I connect with 4 client oracle get correctly, but when I connect with more 5 client I get this error:
ORA-04031: unable to allocate NNNNN bytes of shared memory ("large pool","unknown object","large pool hea","PX msg pool")

How can I resolve this problem?

    Thanks
    Raf

If the large pool is out of memory, increase the initialization parameter LARGE_POOL_SIZE. Be sure not to increase the parameter to a value large enough to cause the OS to start paging/swapping.
