    RBS Tablespace

    Oracle 8.17/ Windows NT

    Hello

I have a qucik question, just looking at the tablespace schema DBA studio manager,

I see that i have 68% of my RBS tablespace used up. The Dbse is running in noarchive log mode.

The oonly production type activity that runs is a series of daily updates from a remote data source...

Users then periodically write short queries against this data.

Is this healthy to have 62% used like this?? It seems very high

Thanks in advace for any help...

Check the size of your rollback segments and consider setting optimal sizes for them. It's not really a problem if yours is an OLTP system but you might run into problems if you start running large batch processes as you might find that an individual rollback segment cannot extend because of the wasted space in the tablespace.
