Thread: export required enter key to press

    Angry export required enter key to press

    during export operation it requires ENTER key to press when
    exporting large rows in particular table.

    It wait's till i press ENTER key to continue the exp operation.

    What is the command you are using to export? Are you using interactive export? Post the parameters that you are using when invoking the exp utility.

    As you are using full database export, grants on a table are always exported, by default.

    So also for indexes & constraints (default is Yes). You dont' have a param called triggers. Check out the 'consistent' param with the doc referenced above.

    Document bug it seems?? The PDF document(ver 815) I have downloaded for reference does not have that param but html online (817) doc has it.

    BTW, the html (815) version also does not have this param...

    Quite possible, best way to find out is do exp help=y and see if its there...

    trigger=y/n does not work till 8.1.7

    TRIGGERS=Y parameter was invoked from 8.1.7 and it worked.
    now the query is not related to having triggers=Y or N?.
