What is the command you are using to export? Are you using interactive export? Post the parameters that you are using when invoking the exp utility.

exp system/xxxx@db file=oracle.dmp full=Y log=oracle.log grants=Y indexes=Y CONSISTENT=Y TRIGGERS=Y CONSTRAINTS=Y

As you are using full database export, grants on a table are always exported, by default.

So also for indexes & constraints (default is Yes). You dont' have a param called triggers. Check out the 'consistent' param with the doc referenced above.

Document bug it seems?? The PDF document(ver 815) I have downloaded for reference does not have that param but html online (817) doc has it.
BTW, the html (815) version also does not have this param...

trigger=y/n does not work till 8.1.7
-
TRIGGERS=Y parameter was invoked from 8.1.7 and it worked.
now the query is not related to having triggers=Y or N?.
