    Analyzing Applications Tables

    Is there a need to or danger because of, analyzing Apps tables, for example, AP_INVOICES_ALL owned by AP user. I thought analyzing creates statistics which in turn degrades performance. Thanks.

    Hi,
    Analyzing the APPS tables,doesnot degrade the performance but improves the performance as the latest statistics is available to the Oracle optimiser for creating better and efficent execution plans.
