Does not print in the left output tray on Xerox 440ST document printer from apps 11i

Hi all,

We are on 11i (11.5.7)/Win2K. We recently added Xerox Document printer 440ST, which is a kind of all in one printer,copier,fax,email...). I installed this printer with HPLJ4SI driver in the Apps.

The problem is that it prints from the center output tray, which is normally a place for fax output. I want it to print from the left output tray. I tried everything by changing the printing default options on the printer property.

Can someone help please...

Hi all,

I am closing this thread as I fixed the problem. I had to create new printer prt files, drivers, styles and type in apps with the initializing string, which would force to print on the left output tray on the printer.
