Hi,

Our company is authorized to sell Oracle embedded licenses to our customers, which means when we sell our products, we buldle Oracle DB software with our applications. One restriction is that our customers can not INTERACTIVELY access DBs. I am curious how other people deal with DB recovery under this restriction. Of course, we could supply scripts for each kind of DB failure but this would be rather tedious and ridiculous to cover all the scenerios. Besides, they have to be able to identify the problems before applying the corresponding solution/script. I suppose the whole point about the embedded license is that we have to support our customer's DBs. However, I'd still like to know if anybody out there has similar situation or better solutions.

Thanks,
