deftran always grows
Hi i'm using 9.2 W2K with replication the deftran never purge even when i scheduled the DBMS_DEFER_SYS.PURGE proc or when i start it manually.
all my replication transaction are done well
how to purge it thanks

Open a tar.... I predict the folks at tech support will guide you pretty quickly.
Once upon a time in Oracle 8i, I had an issue where the purge happened correctly but the blocks in DEFTRAN never made it back onto the freelist and the segment grew and grew and grew even though there were few rows in DEFTRAN. I can't recall the solution, just the work around that made us periodically stop replication.
