    Problem starting a Job against Aix 4.3

    Problem starting a Job against Aix 4.3 from OEM 9.2
    errror message :
    VNI-4002 : Unknown gateway exception VxxdCryptoSessionException: SESSION_UNAVAILABLE

    Any idea

    Where is the OEM setup WINDOWS or AIX...
    what is the database version ??
    what intelligent agent are you using 8i or 9i ??

    OEM is installed on Windows 2000 Server
    the Database is 9.2.0.2.0
    The agent is 9i

    Remove the parameter nmi.secure_only=FALSE
    from $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin/snmp_rw.ora file:

    Stop and restart the Oracle Intelligent Agent.

    There is no such entry
    just
    snmp.contact.listener = ""

    Remove the node.clean start the agent and rediscover the node.some times this will help

    Did this already several times...
    Is it possible to be something with policies
    I am not very good with unix, but is there something li Log on as Batch job like in Windows...

    Try to edit the $ORACLE_HOME/network/agent/services.ora file and change the line that specifies the ORACLE_NODE.

    ie. xxxxxx = (ORACLE_NODE,

    Change the xxxxxx to the value that is returned by entering the HOSTNAME command at your OS prompt. You will need to remove the node from OEM and rediscover.

    nope, indeed there was another name /this pc (aix) has two ip addresses/ written, so I change it but still not working...
