    32 to 64 bit upgrade.

    Ok, I am posting this on behalf of a freind so please don't chastise me.

    We want to know what is involved if you want to change a 32 bit Oracle 8.1.7 running on a Sun 64 bit machine over to 64 bit.

    That is to say that the Sun box is already 64 bit but Oracle is running 32.

    How will this affect Java, he is working with Oracle Financials as well.
