    How many temp-ts are possible ?

    Hi,
    is it possible to have more then on temp-tablspace?

    Hi,
    no restriction except max number of tablespaces per database (64K for 8i seems to be enough) and the DB_FILES parameter.
    However, it's pointless to have more temp tablespaces than users, I think.

    You can have at most 65533 files in 9i DBs. May be less on some operating systems. It is limited also by size of database blocks and by the DB_FILES.
