Expected behaviour. EXIT is considered normal exit and since you have not rolled back, SQL Plus implicitely commits
Either leave SQL Plus using QUIT not EXIT or just rollback before leave

Dear Bore, Actually i have a central database on 10g and it is accessed by differnt user at different Locations by Lease line. when ever the connectivity is down by any unavoidable reseaon records have been saved without passing commit command by user via Form of from SQL.

    Is that what u asked?

What u ask now seems pretty unusual and I suppose some client commits somewhere implicitly

    Cheers
