Lightbulb Make few Environment Details Mandatory...

I would like to point out one thing, i.e. when members ask question espicially the new one, they dont give any details about their environment like what OS, Hardware, which version of Oracle are they using , what error number and error message are they getting....

What i feel is that there should be few mandatory options like Oracle Version, Error number and message(atleast) while creating a new thread... and others can be made optional like OS, Hardware... etc... so that answering their question becomes easy...

And also based on the error number field they can be shown previously posted posts before they actually submit their post, so that repeated questions need not be asked and answered again and again...

    Regards

This has been brough up before. This is not a fee-for-service website. If you post poor information, you will get a poor answer.
