    If you were starting your OCP...

    If you were starting your OCP today, which track would you start with?

    I picked 8i because it is still very dominant and you will need to know it in a real world situation. Then you can upgrade your cert to 9i.

    I sort-of agree with Mr Hankey, but I'd also be thinking do 9i (less exams) and the 10i exams will be out by the time I'm finished, so I could to that and be 9i & 10i. The release of 10i should encourage more people away from 8i, even if they only go to 9i.

    Assuming I was still working for someone using 8i I would then moan constantly about how brilliant 9i was compared to 8i until they gave in and upgraded all their servers at great expense. It's true, I can moan that bad
