dbsnmp communication

Hi,

When i start agent on win2000 ,then f:\oem9i\network\log\dbsnmp.log file shows the following error :

NMS-00001: Warning: dbsnmp unable to connect to SNMP master agent

But , I have configured SNMP correctly and Agent has been started successfully .

What is the solution for this ? Can anyone help me ?

Hi

Go to control panel services clicxk on oracle SNMP Peer Master agent and try starting it..

I have already started SNMP master agent Successfully .Still , I get

Hi

iF your database is running on HostA then you need to start the snmp agent on HostA so that you can discover nodes on that host through OEM and also run jobs on that machine..are you doing that ?

My db is running on same host where agent is running. But, I do not
know how to get the nodes through OEM since I could not be able to start the service of OMS ? It displays "Could not Start management server, intialization failed " Any more solutions ?
