Has anyone, or does anyone know of someone, that has taken the 4 Oracle9i OCP exams AFTER the Oracle course requirement went into effect back in October? If so, I'm curious if anyone has received their OCP without taking the "required" Oracle University course.
Just curious to see if in fact Oracle is tracking this information and enforcing it...or if it's just a soft rule that Oracle is hoping everyone will just follow.
Would love to hear other's feedback on this.

Yes they do check. They made me submit my proof before they sent my DBA certificate. ITs kinda funky the way they do it. They let you tak and pass all the tests. then they send you a letter saying you have not had the class and asking you to send in proof to get your certification. In a way its blackmail. but thats another story. you should have known before you started on this venture that you would have to take a class.
How rediculas is that? Oh, we see you've passed all the exams required for 9i OCP... now you have to do an Oracle course to learn what you've just passed.... ehh??
