    hot backup in nonarchive mode?

    hello all

    ORacle 9.2

    Can we do a hot backup in NonArchive mode ?.....my db is non archive mode. If so, how do we do it ?.

    No meaning to take hot backup on noarchive log database.

    Unless you have some "Special" chant/incantation, a hot backup requires a database to be in archivelog mode...
