    Yeah, stecal is right.

I bought Sybex kit when studying to 8i exams. I was warned that "RMAN section on Sybex was terrible". However, when I start reading I noticed that the entire B&R was terrible, not just RMAN chapters. That book has many script listings and less good stuff.

The best source is ILT book (luckily I sit the Oracle classes). If you have it, forget everything else, it is enough.

Stay away from Sybex for B&R.

What does the SEARCH button do?

ILT - Instructor Lead Training... i.e. Oracle Education.

I swear, this is the last time I'm typing what this Acronym stands for.

Unfortunately, ILT is not searchable because it is less than 4 characters.

There is a thread in the "Feedback" section addressing this limitation, and i hope that everyone will add a post to it if they agree that a minimum 4 letter search is a hindrance to site usability.

With a large number of complaints, the site operators might do something.

Maybe you should be looking at a different career path. You were just told in the previous posting what/where/who re: ILT -

ILT - Instructor Lead Training... i.e. Oracle Education.

Try education.oracle.com. You have to attend a class to get the ILT book(s) for that class.
