    Nested Update

    Hi,
    Can anyone help me in doing a nested Update in Oracle8.1.I want to Update a table with 2 where clauses.Can any one explain with an example.Suppose there are 3 fields in one table i want to update 2 fields with different value and the 3 field with a different value.(meaning 2 where clauses).Pls explain.

    If we only knew what you are asking....

    Can you please explain your requirements with an example of what you are trying to do? And don't cross-post to different forums!
