Performance

Hi Guys,

We are running Oracle817 on sun solaris 8, I use toad to monitor the database performance. The performance utilities are taking a long time and there is performance degradation on the dba user. The user schema's performance is good except for the sys or system user. Any pointers will be appreciated. One more thing we recntly went live before there was no archiving, now archiving is enabled.

You should get on metalink and find something which will help you implement statspack.

I've set up a shell script to email the statspack report on a daily basis.
