    Question Management Server on Unix

    Could someone please advise how to start the Oracle Management Server on a Unix machine?

    Since you didn't mention your version and OS, I'm assuming Oracle 9.2.0.2 and Solaris 8:
    oemctl start oms

    also make sure that agentctl is running otherwise u wont be able to discover nodes.

    ---------------------------
    agentctl start
    ---------------------------

    and the default username is sysman and password is oem_temp
