Questions for you...
Hi Guys
I have two questions for you.
1) How does oracle manage control file I/O.Which process is taking care of that operation.Where exactly oracle stores the info which is read from the control file at the time of startup.
2) Which "optimizer_mode" is best for OLTP/DSS databases and why ?

Dear Jamon
What they are trying to say is, please read the manuals carefully. All these things are clearly written in manuals.
