    odbc error 160

    Hi,

    I wrote a small xml application. It was connecting to a Oracle 8.0.4 database using ODBC. now after we upgraded the oracle to 816 and also updated the client to 816 it stopped connecting to the database and gives me error 160 and sometimes eror 129.

    has anyone faced this kind of problem earlier...?

    please advise.

    Which provider r u using to connect to ur database........
    " Micrsoft ODBC for Oracle " or " Oracle in Oracle 8.x "??????

    In any case try reconfiguring ur DSN.
