    9i ocp Exam# 1Z0-001

    Hi
    I am planning to write ocp 9i DBA. And I am opting to go for
    Exam# 1Z0-001(Introduction to Oracle: SQL and PL/SQL) Instead of
    Exam #1Z0-007 Introduction to Oracle9i: SQL.
    In the 9i content check list they have not mentioned the syllabus for this SQL and PL/SQL exam. But this is there in the 8i content check list. my question is which syllabus should I prepare whether 9i or 8i. Does any one got any idea.

    If you are already planning on "writing" the exam for 001, then why bother asking if you should take 007? A pure 9i track does not include 001. If you want to start with 8i and upgrade to 9i, then the 001 exam is required. It is all explained at http://education.oracle.com.

    Hi
    I have gone through the link. also through the oracle certification program candidate guide. in that they have mentioned the track like this

    Exam#1Z0-001 OR Exam#1Z0-007-->Exam#1Z0-031--> OCA -->Exam# 1Z0-032-->Exam# 1Z0-033--> OCP

    or you could follow the link http://www.oracle.com/education/downloads/dba9i_cg.pdf

    what does this OR means.

    Either test is valid for 9i. Life is so hard when there are choices.
