Sts - Oracle8 Vs Oracle8i(a&a)
I am going to take Oracle8i architecture and administration exam by
end of this month, but I have STS for ORACLE8 ADMINISTRATION.
Could any body advice whether Oracle8 administration STS is enough or
I have to buy STS for Oracle8i
As grjohnson said they are very similar, and you should be able to achieve a passing grade with the 8STS however, if you want to be completely sure you sholud purchase the 8iSTS.
Of course these are only sampler tests providing you have learnt and understand your 8i Material you should have no problem passing with the STS or not.
There are slight differences but 8i releases are mostly 8 with lots of bug fixes, to understand the main differences look at the release notes on technet between each version.

I am using ILT study materials for oracle8i 1Z0-023, almost I am ready
to write the exam. How many questions can i expect from STS materials.
If I go through all questions successfully in STS whether am i successfully
pass the exam. Please clarify.
Note: From STS for each questions are they giving explaination.
If you understand the concepts of the ILT very well and you are scoring well on practice tests WITHOUT MEMORIZING THE ANSWERS, then you can expect to do well.
In my opinion, A&A is an important exam because you will use the concepts that you have learned.
