    Hi folks,

I was just planning to take the 8iOCP certification, and can somebody suggest me the good books or some sites where i can get some useful practice tests and hints for the exam.

Hi Sonia, there have been numberous discussions on this board regarding books etc for certification. You'd be best off using the search functionality to find these threads.

For 8i Certification, I found the Exam Guide by Jason Couchman to be very good. It covers all aspects adequately, except, perhaps the Network Administration part.
Whats more, I hear its available on discount, now that 9i guides have come!

And don't forget oracle pdf manuals(all those beautiful books that are written about oracle have used these manuals as reference).
    I'd advise you to read
    concepts manual
    admin manual
    b&rec manual
    rman manual
A few thouand pages but worth a read!
