    Lightbulb sqlldr

    Hi All,

    I am trying to use the sqlldr in windows Nt env (oracle 9i). I am getting the below error. Please let me know some solution ASAP.

    SQL*Loader-500: Unable to open file
    (c:\typeOftreatment.ctl)
    SQL*Loader-553: file not found
    SQL*Loader-509: System error: The system cannot find
    the file specified

    use external tables

    You might want to use the new 9i feature referred to as "external tables".

    Can't we use SQLLDR with 9i???

    The error clearly says that the control file is not accessible. Check whether the control file exists, it yes, check the directoy/file permissions.
