OK, here goes (I sure many visitors to these pages can provide much better answers but...):
Recursive Calls
Usually occurs because of dictionary cache misses, PL/SQL statement execution, and storage allocation
Db Block Gets
Blocks in buffer cache that were accessed for INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, and SELECT statements
Consistent Gets
Blocks in buffer cache accessed without SELECT FOR UPDATE clause.
Add Db Block Gets and Consistent Gets to calculate logical reads.
Physical Reads
Blocks read from disk by SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE, and SELECT FOR UPDATE statements
Redo Size
Bytes written to redo logs
Sorts (Memory)
Sorts performed in memory
Sorts (Disk)
Sorts that couldn't complete in memory and were finished on disk in the temp tablespace(s).
