RH8 and Oracle
have you ever had characterset problems with Red Hat 8? my db is WE8ISO8859P1 and my language is portuguese. I have other databases with this config and works fine, even with RH7.2 and RH7.3 ...
when I type LĂ*der, I get Lmder ... all my java programs also are facing problems with characterset. Of course it's nothing to do with oracle, it's to do with S.O., but I installed the S.O. in portuguese, so it should work.
