    033?

    1. SQL>alter session set USE_STORED_OUTLINES = _____?
Which two are valid settings for the initialization parameter 'USE_STORED_OUTLINES'?
    A. TRUE. B. DEFAULT. C..

    2. When you find values for REQUEST_FAILURES from V$SHARED_POOL_RESERVED is more than zero and always increasing. Then you need to increase both the value for SHARED_POOL_SIZE and SHARED_POOL_RESERVED_SIZE parameters, right?

    Thanks!

    1. None of them are valid init.ora parameter settings. USE_STORED_OUTLINES is system or session specific. If you set this parameter to TRUE, then outlines from DEFAULT category will be used, or if you set to any existing catagory, then it will use outlines from that category.

    2. Yes, The setting you choose for these parameters are depend on your system's SGA size.

Thanks, Sameer. So A:TRUE and C:category name should be the correct answers.
