oracle installed on one machine, trying to run from different machine via nfs mount

Hi

My oracle CDs have got corupted.

I have two IBM RS 6000 machines. On Node 1 Oracle release 9.2.0.2.0 is installed.

The other node 2 is fresh machine. I have nfs mounted the oracle home of node 1 on node 2.

so guys what do u say will it work or not....

im trying this meanwhile any inputs are welcome...

Hey guys

this works....
but the only problem is slow response as the filesystem is NFS mounted :-)

So i copied the whole filesystem as it is to the new machine and every thing is working fine till now :-)
