PrimaryKey setting for Existing Table[Oracle8]
Hai,
I faced One problem in Oracle8.0.That is
Consider a table
sample(num number[20],name varchar2[30]);
It have the values like this;
num name
NULL xyz
NULL mnp
123 kla
543 ier
From this i want to set primary key on this num column.
According to the primarykey rule it should not possible.
But in Oracle8.0 it accept it and make the num column as a Primary key. what is the problem???.

Are you using 8.0.3 or 8.0.4 if so you are hitting bug 604833
