find out what/who set procedure to invalid state

    Hi,

I have encountered a problem where certain packages/procedures are constantly set to invalid state after I recompiled them (without errors and status is set to valid). I want to find out who or what program is doing this. Is there a way to do this.

    Thanks in advance,

Any DDL on the objects referenced in the procedure/package will make them invalid. You may turn on audit for DDL to trace what DDLs are being issued.

You could also use the DBA_DEPENDENCIES view to determine what objects are referenced and therefore what objects could invalidate the procedures.
