Itanium processor with win 2k adv server(64-bit)?

Hi All,

Criteria:
1. Huge databases, with big tables (couple of gigs each). The database could grow to terabytes at a later stage.
2. Mostly data mining. Complex queries against huge tables.
3. Reduce time consumed for runnig querries and increase performance.

Does any of you have the same scenatio? If yes, what configuration did you use to make it better?

Has anyone tried Itanium processors with win 2k advanced servers? if, yes howz the performance gain? what are the issues that one might face with this new config?
