    Smile Use if orakill from C:\

    Hi all,
    Iam getting an error when I am using

    c:\orakill sid thread in WIN NT/2000 TO KILL THE ORACLE SESSION. I tried by seeing in this dbasupport tips & triks..

    ORAKILL IS NOT RECOGNIZED AS AN INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL COMMAND.

    I tried from oracle home dir\bin\orakill...

    but same error. pl. help me.

    Hi,

    If you still have this issue...here is the sol.

    You need to identify the path of orakill in the directory.

    Usually its in the ora##\bin folder in NT. If not, do a file search and then at the command prompt launch it from that location.

    eg.

    c:\oracle\ora81\bin\oracle.exe sid#
