ora-03113 end of on communication
Hi Guys,
I am getting ora-03113 error while starting database using svrmgrl
and i am getting ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced error on sql*plus
please trough some valuable input.

I would bet you need to look at your kernal parameters.

My environment is windows 2000 and i am running on my local pc. I you can guide me where do i have to look for kernal parameters?

where is the alert log? Can Oracle write to the
bdump dest? Do the permissions/space allow this
on your filesystem?

Your controlfile is corrupt.
If you have multiplexed controlfiles try starting your instance by using only one of them at a time (try each one of them), hoping that not all of them are corrupt.
If that doesn't work, try recreating your controlfile.
If that doesn't work, call Oracle Support.

following are my controle file location. can i use second control file to start database ? if yes the how please guide me for that or suggestion cause i am relatively very new to recovery kind a thing.
