Does Performance Manager comes with the Oracle CD?

I installed "Oracle Diagnostic Pack Advanced Events 2.2.0.0.0", thinking that it will contain the Perf Manager. But after the installation I cannot see any new programs in Winnt.

    Peformance Mgr Installation

    Jack,

I have installed Oracle V8.1.7 on Win 2K professional with the OEM Tuning and Diagnostics packs Rel 2.2.

Enterprise Manager was installed with the Oracle server but the extra packs came on a different CD.

It looks like you have only installed one specific component for handling events?

    Cheers

I don't have the Diagnostic Pack CD with me now. Can't I get a free copy from somewhere for educational purposes?

I guess I will have to take the PT exam without using the Diagnostic Pack.

    Oracle Expert OCP Questions

    Jack,

A friend of mine took the PT exam a couple of weeks ago. She sent me the question breakdown and there was only a single question on Oracle Expert out of 57 total. There were 7 each on the shared pool and the buffer cache...

I had a go with Oracle Expert to get a feel for the software but you should be okay just by working from the revision guides (Sybex etc.).

Good luck with the exam. I sit mine on Friday 1st Nov in Sheffield, England.

    Cheers,
