Thread: Database Installation problem!!!

    Hi all!

    Working on Oracle v8i with OS as win2k/NT.

    At the time of Database creation afresh through Database Configuration Assistant(DBCA),Credential Retrieval Failed
    error occurs while installing on a standalone system.

    This error occurs at the very beginning while creating a new database through DBCA.

    What could be the problem and how should I solve it!
