    Hi,

I entered DBA field at Oracle 8

Can anyone please outline the major differences between oracle7 and oracle 8i ?

Your quick response will be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Getting to Know Oracle8i
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs...a76962/toc.htm

    Chapter 3: Oracle 8i (8.1.5) New Features
Chapter 4: Release 8.0 New Features and Options

Read those two chapters and you'll know what's in 8.0 and 8i that is not in 7.3. All other concepts are (more or less) equal in Oracle7 as they are in 8i.

    cheers Jurij,

Looked on the net for something like this to no avail.
It was obviously there in a far corner of the web.

A friend was in need for a job interview.
