    Hi,

What hardware RAID level is ideal for database server? RAID 5 is good for space utilization but not good for write performance, which OLTP database server does alot. Does anybody have any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Thanks all for your reply!

    Marist89,

Why not 1+0 but 0+1? Isn't 1+0 better for availability?

    Thanks,

Either 0+1 or 1+0 is fine. Some arrays only support 0+1, but if you can do 1+0, go for it!
