    Can some one help me in providing a good url or book talking about undocumented initialization parameters?
    I know that one can use following to find all undocumented parameters which typically start with '_':

    select ksppinm
    from x$ksppi
    where substr(ksppinm,1,1) = '_';

    I also found many urls when tried to search using Google and came across this url where Michael Ault is coming out with a complete book on this:

    Psst - that's why they are "undocumented." Once there is a book written about them, they won't be undocumented anymore. Has anyone put anything in your luggage without your knowledge?

    well even you know them and use them then the problem is Oracle would not support it if you ever hit any problem they would say it's your fault putting undocumentated parameters without their advice

    the book could be interesting but not useful if we want to use it tho
