Need Help on Excel Import

Hi All,

Here is my situation,
I will be develop custom forms for clients who are running Oracle Applications 1157 (3 tiers). I need to import the data of a Excel into the database through forms.
I don't know much about Excel import or export, can anyone kindly point me to some resources?

I have not worked in Excel in 5 years, so they have probably changed the product. Last time I checked Excel will not import into Oracle. But Excel will import into Access, and Access will import into Oracle directly.

Not sure how you can get that into an Oracle Form. Will the customer not let you send a flat file?
