    Hi all!

Working on Oracle v9i on Sun Solaris v8.0.

I am not able to connect Sys through sysdba/sysoper in Oraclev9i!But system is getting connected through sysdba/sysoper over sql*plus!

    I get the error:Insufficient privileges!

What could I be missing on sys part!

But sys with sysdba/sysoper is getting connected over DBASTUDIO!

    Thanks & Regards,

    Amit.

Connect sys/pwd@dbname as sysdba leads to insufficient priviliges!

    Hi pando!

It's not a matter of dumbness but understandability!!!

    The syntax:
Connect sys/pwd@dbname as sysdba leads to insufficient priviliges error.

Connect system/pwd@dbname as sysdba leads to insufficient priviliges eror!

Now what could have gone wrong here!

    Regards,

    Amit.
