    Database Locking Information

    Hi Experts

    I would like to monitor or get a report on the followings

    - Which object or table get locked?
    - What type of Lock is that?
    - Why did that particular locking happen?
    - And lastly would like to know is that locking happening bcoz of Application problem or Databas eproblem.

    u get info in v$locked_object

    whenever u perform DML statements on tables....the table will be shown as locked and associated is the mode of lock...that u get in v$loacked_object
    funky...
